Regardless of what people might say about her romance, Miss Universe 2013 1st Runner Up Patricia Rodriguez (Spain) definitely had no problem appearing with her partner Vanessa Klein DJ in Madrid Catwalk Fashion Show! Yes ladies, they’re officially out together! Sweet couple alert!

Both even revealed that they are more than excited to celebrate their first couple anniversary living together. And where exactly? Paris! “We’re gonna be on our first year together as a couple this late February and we’re happy that we’ve been together all this time. We’ll both celebrate it in Paris just like how other couples go to the city of love to celebrate. We haven’t been in Paris yet so it’s gonna be perfect”, she said.

When asked about how she has been after she came out, the lovely model feels proud of taking a step to come out in public. “When I fell in love with the person, I did not think of anything at all. When I posted the first picture with my girlfriend, I did not have to think of it all first. Then I realized that I was the first beauty queen making it all official. I am glad that I may have helped others to view this, us, as a normal couple.”

But has her coming out affected her career? Nah-ah! “It never made me less as a person in my career in modeling. The respect stays the same. In fact, I’ve missed all calls of support from different people congratulating me on my new-found happiness. But of course, it’s never always positive. I heard one comment from a TV network asking me if I were sick.”

What gives her the positive vibe right now is that nothing has really changed with regards to her career: contracts, co-models, clients, etc. She hasn’t experienced any discriminatory actions from any sorts as far as her career is concerned. “Whatever it is that people say that I may hear, I just stay quiet and keep myself grounded”, Patricia said. And she bade the press goodbye with her sweet words, “I love Vanessa.”
