Miss Universe 2013-The Hosts and The Performances
MEL-B (Melanie Brown)
The “Scary Spice” of Spice Girls and “America’s Got Talent” judge who has just released her latest single “For Once In My Life” is back in MU Stage! The last time she set foot on Miss Universe stage was in Vietnam during the Miss Universe 2008 pageant as the co-host of tabloid talk show host and host of NBC’s America’s Got Talent Jerry Springer as the host, and where Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela won the competition.
CNN Headline News and MSNBC Live host Thomas Roberts will co-host Mel-B this year’s Miss Universe pageant. He is an advocate in the LGBT community and a Visibility Awardee of Human Rights Campaign in October 2011 and is also recognized by the Stonewall Community Foundation, The National Crime Victim Bar Association, and Marriage Equality USA. Thomas is also a fill-in host on MSNBC Morning Joe and NBC’s today. He’s openly gay and is married to Patrick D. Abner. I’m wondering what Andy Cohen has to say about this.
Even after Andy Cohen (who is openly gay) declined the hosting stint for the pageant and even Donald Trump knows about the anti-gay propaganda in Russia, the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) still pushed the idea of getting a gay male host. Here’s a video of what Donald Trump has to say about this and Thomas Roberts as well.
THE WEB PRESENTER
JANINE MARI TUGONON
Confirmed by herself in her Twitter account, Janine Mari Tugonon, Miss Universe 2012 1st Runner-Up from the Philippines will be this year’s web presenter. She is tasked to give behind-the-scene scoops and activities of the candidates. Shamcey Supsup, Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-Up, who is also from the Philippines, was the web presenter during the Miss Universe 2012. It seems like MUO loves the Filipina beauties!
Emin Araz oglu Agalarov, simply known under the stage name Emin, is an Azerbaijani singer-songwriter and businessman. As an international singing sensation, he gained attention in his debut album “Still“. His first hit was “Baby Get Higher” from his 2012 album “After The Thunder“.
PANIC! AT THE DISCO
2-time Grammy-nominated for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package American pop rock band Panic! At The Disco is going to perform in this year’s Miss Universe pageant. This band was formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004 who has just released its fourth studio album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die. They have earned 6 nominations and won Video of the Year in 2006 in the history of MTV Video Music Awards.
